Your future needs you now

How many times are you going to set yourself a goal, or should I say the same goal, because let's be honest, we often repeat them. It could be exercising, eating healthier, saving money or 'making that move'. For every day that passes, that's one more day you've pretty much delayed.
When did you last make time to evaluate your current situation? What's stagnant and what's actually developing in your life? Perhaps it's time to review your short and long term goals - what are you really doing to help achieve these? A lot of the time, we just need to change some habits, be more consistent, and address our time management skills.
Making time for yourself is also a vital must these days. Self care should be one of your top priorities. We should aim to do something enjoyable as often as possible, whether it's something relaxing, physical, eventful etc. as long as it makes you feel good. With mental health on the rise and the aftermath of the unexpected COVID 19 pandemic which some of us might still be recovering from, it's fair to say the majority of us came through the pandemic with a different mentality, now wanting to really 'live our best lives'. So when was the last time you scheduled in some time for yourself and embraced some self love? It's often said that a better you, means the people around you receive the very best version of you.
We sometimes wait for a specific time, before making a change or making a start. Remember small progress is better than no progress. If it's a career change, watch a YouTube video on it and decide if you really want to proceed further. If you're already confident with an idea, start the business plan, and just go for it! We often forget how fortunate we are having access to the internet, full of FREE information. The majority of the time, we become so obsessed with what people will say or think, but honestly why do you care what people think? This is your life and your story, don't let your ambition or potential go to waste. Take advantage of the opportunities presented to you and always remember, by simply networking, you can transform your life.
I'll leave you with this thought - do you ever think back to when you were younger, when you had countless hopes and dreams, of a straight forward life, you were going to study, work and just start buying stuff like they do in video games and board games. But as you grew older you were faced with independence, paying household bills, the 9-5 marathon, over 18+ dentist fees, insurance quotes for your life, the house and even the dog, often referred to as 'adult life'. Now some of us have dependents,(kids and family members), and we're eager to do better for them. Deep down we know life doesn't get better without change and what it really boils down to is how badly do you want a better life versus how much longer are you willing to stay complacent where you are? Whatever you've imagined, wished for, dreamt of, or desire, it can still happen, whether it's going back to study, losing weight, traveling, a career change, getting married, being a homeowner, and much more, but you have to get up and take action.
So my question to you now is, what are you waiting for? Because your future is waiting on you.
